Ever since Penny had learned to read I have had to keep my diary in the celestial language of tongues.  Eventually, the way things seem to be going, I am going to have to teach her the true language that created the Earth, but I am waiting until that is absolutely necessary.

I pose the question...

Ok. So you're shuffling through your iPod or whatever you've got, personal entertainment-wise and you're -angry-. So you skip lots of songs that you like and stop on angry songs or songs that fit your mood. You're upset, same deal. You're exuberantly joyous, ditto.

-But-...

Everyone has those few songs that are important to you that, no matter what your mood is, you -always- stop on them. You enjoy them -so- much that their emotional or psychological importance exceeds your own emotional importance.

For me, these songs are "Bailero" from Joseph Canteloube's "Songs of the Auvergne" and "Creep" by Radiohead.

So I ask the question: what's yours?
